What is Ethernet?
Telefónica Global Solutions’ Ethernet service consists of Layer 2 services aimed at simplifying corporate communications, allowing your offices to work globally over an extended LAN. The Ethernet service can be classified in the following groups:
- E-Line: A service aimed at geographically connecting separate offices over WANs using MPLS (pseudowires). It enables point-to-point interconnections between the customer’s head offices, defining an EVC (Ethernet Virtual Connection) between the origin and the destination.
Our Ethernet is a service suitable for any sector, with cutting-edge technology and an efficient design that offers you:
Broadband from 1Mbps to 10Gbps.
Up to four classes of service: voice, video, Data Silver and Data Bronze.
Service mode: Port mode and VLAN mode with redundancy scenarios.

Ethernet access is available in a standard format in 170 countries, including an E-Line, E-LAN and E-Tree end-to-end managed option. We also offer:
- 110 PoP infrastructures in over 34 countries.
- Ethernet: Point-to-multipoint in 98 countries.
- Ethernet: 10 Mbps, 100 Mbps, 1 Gbps to 10 Gbps E-Line and EVPL.
- Cisco ASR 920 (ASR-920-4SZ-A and ASR-920-12SZ-IM): DC or AC – Up to 10 Gbps (requires licence to offer 10 GB).
- FSP150 GE102Pro(H): Two 1GE network ports (SFP/RJ45) and one 1GE access port (SFP/RJ45).
- FSP150 GE112Pro(H): Two GE network ports (SFP/RJ45) and two 1GE access ports (SFP/RJ45).
- FSP150 GE114Pro(HE): Two 1GE network ports (SFP/RJ45) and four 1GE access ports (SFP/RJ45).
- FSP150 XG116Pro(H): Two 1GE ports (SFP/RJ45) and four 1GE/10GE ports (SFP/RJ45).
- In the case of ME1200, the devices went into end-of-sale on 8 March 2021 and can no longer be used.
