Telefónica Global Solutions’ Maritime Mobile Telephony solution is part of the Company’s Satellite Mobile telephony catalogue and is designed to provide connectivity at sea .It is based on a shared-access platform (hub) that serves all types of terminals, offering a versatile and cost-effective solution.
It also adapts to all types of vessels (ships, fishing boats, cruise ships and military ships), with coverage as well as connectivity to Telefónica Global Solutions’ MPLS land-based network, expanding usage scenarios on board such as telemetry and control, weather and chart updates, rapid response to emergencies, fleet management, remote medical service, entertainment and well-being, internet access and private network access.
