Telefónica Global Solutions, launching partner for Microsoft Operator Connect for Microsoft Teams

Madrid, September the 27th, 2021.- Until now, there was the option of using Direct Routing for Microsoft Teams, a capability that enables coverage in countries with regulatory and security restrictions and using the same Teams application to send and receive calls.

Telefónica Global Solutions already offers Direct Routing and allows its clients to take advantage of its international SIP Trunk network and global coverage. Thanks to its strategic presence in Latin America and Europe, where it uses its own networks, as well as its agreements with third parties, it has the necessary infrastructure and regional agreements to optimize the quality of its voice services.

Telefonica Global Solutions, with Operator Connect, now unlocks several important benefits: you can easily enable Telefonica Global Solutions SIP Trunking service for new countries and regions and/or leverage your existing voice contract with us.

You can expect the best quality and service level agreements for your voice calls thanks to our in-region direct peering with Azure. It’s also quick and easy to deploy, thanks to the API integration between Microsoft and Telefonica Global Solutions for number provisioning in Teams. And you don’t need on-premises hardware, this is a pure cloud integration between Microsoft Teams and Telefonica Global Solutions.

Telefónica Global Solutions can help you choose the most efficient solution for your company, in either Direct Routing or Operator Connect. At the moment, 6 countries have direct access to Operator Connect, but soon, more countries will join this coverage.
