With our Cloud Connect service, Telefónica Global Solutions offers customers a secure and reliable way to connect their corporate VPN to AWS Cloud Platform through AWS Direct Connect
Telefónica Global Solutions has a global MPLS network that can interconnect globally to AWS Cloud Platform in a secure and reliable way.
AWS offers Direct Connect Cloud Service.
Direct Connect Cloud Service is the shortest route to AWS resources. In transit, your traffic stays on the global AWS network and never touches the public Internet.
This service has two different connectivity modalities which are Hosted and Dedicated Port
They are offered in a shared port with other customers provided by TGS. Some of the characteristics of this service are:
• Bandwidth available up to 10Gb
• Only one peering per service can be provisioned
• Private and public peeringsare available for this service
They are offered in those locations where TGS is collocated with AWS. Customers order a dedicated port to AWS and we manage the cross-connection of the physical port.
• Port capacity offered are 1Gb or 10Gb
• Bandwidth up to 10Gb
• Customer can order as many Cloud Connect services with different bandwidths up to complete port capacity
• Each of these Cloud Connect services can have as many peerings as required
• Each of these peerings can be connected to a different Customer Account Id and Customer International VPN from different origins.
